Counter Intuitive Monday

I was able to do a little Sunday morning reading from one of my favorite easy reads, “It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want to Be” written by Paul Arden. As I read the pages realizing how counter intuitive and unreasonable the ideas are in the book I thought to myself that I should share some of the thought provoking quotes from the book. So here goes:

“Don’t seek praise, seek criticism”

“Don’t covet your ideas. Give away everything you know, and more will come back to you.”

“Don’t look for the next opportunity.  The one you have in hand is the opportunity.”

“If it can’t be done, do it.  If you don’t do it, it doesn’t exist.”

“If you can’t solve a problem it’s because you are playing by the rules.”

“FAIL, FAIL AGAIN, FAIL BETTER” -Samuel Beckett

“If everything seems under control your not going fast enough.”
- Mario Andretti

Of course there is much more in the book but these should do to get your week started right. Have an incredible week.!
